Introduction
My name is Ahmed, and I'm an international MSci student at the University of Cambridge, studying Materials' Science. I hail from Egypt, where I attended high-schooling under the British IGCSE and A-level system. After winning multiple awards for my academic performance and subsequently being offered an opportunity as a volunteer tutor at a local tutoring center, I came to realize my passion for mathematics and science extended to communicating them as well. I have taken this passion with me to university, where I partake in it every opportunity I get: from participating in roadshows demonstrating scientific experiments to school-children, to enrolling in lecturing competitions where I explain my technical research to a general audience. Beyond my extensive tutoring experience, both online and in-person, I am in the unique position of knowing the obstacles international students face during admissions, and am very keen to pass this knowledge on to others. I am also very interested in tutoring English as a second language - while English is my second language myself, I have won the top award in the world for IGCSE English
