Introduction
I am a first-class graduate from the University of Cambridge and a current MSc Psychological and Behavioural Science student, graduating in September 2021 from the London School of Economics and Political Science. I have been a tutor for the past 7 years. My reason for tutoring mainly stems from a want to help others learn, and fall in love with a subject. I am a keen writer, various pieces I have written have been published on the LSE blog, and my paper was recently published in the peer-reviewed journal: Judgement and Decision making. Being from Mauritius, and growing up in gas-rich Qatar, has shown me the importance of versatility and lateral thinking to succeed in an ever-integrating world. I grew up with French and British education, surrounded by Arabic culture and customs, to complete my university education in the UK. This non-formal education has allowed me to understand the importance of language and culture to enhance the sharing of knowledge. I believe that in order to effectively teach, one must understand a student's specific way of learning. My background in Behavioural Science has been key in this aspect, having taken multiple modules in Education, I am well versed in different learning and teaching methods.
